Shore Lines

As a part of River Night Walk

Shore Lines employs large scale projection and live light drawing to share the unique ecological environment of Yerta Bulti Port Adelaide. The project shines a light and sends a thank you message to local ecological restoration projects, community work and countless hours of volunteer love. It involves projecting images and videos of their field work on the side of the two story building opposite Diamond Square. These images will sit alongside Haliphite Hotel animation by Louise Flaherty and Laura Wills and live light drawing performances by First Nations artist Violet Buckskin. The sound is a score by local musicians Naomi Keyte and Belinda Gelhert. Next to the projections is an opportunity to participate in painting messages and pictures on the street. This inclusive invitation shares the stories of Barker Inlet and Port River ecosystem. Using clay activation in public space collectively shares our connections and builds relationships and care.
