Bursaria spinosa

On the weekend I visited the Botanic Gardens with my family. It was lovely to get back into the gardens. Since Laura and started this project we have not been able to access collection (apart from what is already online). And now we can leave home it was great to visit the garden. 

I have read about the remnant Bursaria spinosa in a few different books and it has been referred to one of the very few remnant trees that still exists in the garden. I haven’t ever before spent the time to hunt it down, so this is what we did today. 

A truely special tree which I am sure would be able to tell some stories.
